Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Homeowners Vault (“the Vault”), operated by Talk To The Home. By creating an account or using the Vault, you agree to them.

The service

The Vault lets you store and organize information about your home, set reminders, and (on the Assistant plan) chat with an AI assistant about your own data. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Your account

• You’re responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy of what you add.
• Don’t upload unlawful content or others’ personal information without permission, and don’t misuse or attempt to disrupt the service.

Plans, trials & billing

• New accounts include a 60-day free trial. After the trial, continued editing requires a paid plan; your data stays viewable and exportable.
• Paid plans (Vault and Vault + Assistant) renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. Prices are shown in the app in CAD.
• Cancel any time from Settings; access continues until the end of the paid period. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and display it back to you and operate the service. You can export or delete it at any time.

Transfers from a realtor

If a realtor sends you a vault, accepting it copies the prepared homeowner-relevant data into your account. Accepting is permanent; declining means that data won’t be available to you later.

Disclaimers & liability

The Vault is provided “as is.” It’s an organizational tool, not professional advice (legal, financial, or home-inspection). To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the prior 12 months.

Termination

You may stop using the Vault at any time. We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
